Everybody gets one. Here's mine. " The TE's and TXC's will come with the US spec tranny's we have been begging for." Next.
TXC 250 and 310 get the new head/EFI system. I heard a rumour that there is no 2013 TE250 coming to NA. Otherwise BNG for 2013.
So here is my wish list for 2013. "New" Fuel Injected 2-Strokes, with a real 200 in the line-up! The 310 with a new head/valve design and transmission ratio's. A new 450/510 that keeps all of the good stuff it has now, but less weight and more gas capacity. It may have to be an early release 2014 (mid year 2013) Oh, and a real "West Coast" Husqvarna Race Team for off-road. Cory and Kyle are great, but they need more Factory help to keep our dreams alive.
Husqvarna will team up with Monster Energy for the 2013 supercross and motocross season finnishing top 5 points in both.
Husqvarna will ship a 1000cc super sport bike which will take the world by storm. The following year, it will win the WSBK championship. Millions will flock to dealers to buy this Husky because everyone buys the bikes that win, right? The downside is, in 5 years, people will come up to you at a dirt bike ride, notice your bike and say, "Husqvarna makes dirt bikes?" And then I woke up from this nightmare...
I know everyone's concerned about Husky with all the BMW driven street bikes. But the dirt bikes are going strong. There's just the one BMW engine in the mix there and no sign of others. And it would have to be all new if there were to be one. So far, BMW is only leveraging existing engine designs. I think the 449/511 will go away once the contract with Kymco is over. And that's when we'll see the 450 XLite design. That's my prediction. Husky's dirt bikes are doing well. Not gangbusters, but well. Sales have DOUBLED, which is infuckingcredible. So I wouldn't worry about the dirt bikes. They're strong and they should be safe. I don't know what to predict for the 650. I don't like a BMW driven option... it's too heavy. The 610 was a fantastic bike. I hope we'll see something worthy to replace it soon.
I hope Husky stays away from EFI on 2 strokes. Not needed and I sure don't want to pay extra for something that isn't needed. It would be neat if Husky would come out with an Aircooled 2 stroke and 4 stroke. I think the time has come to try aircooled bikes again.
200, 250, 300 & 350 2T, new frame, hydro clutch, 6 speed, KYB both ends, 11L tank with clear 'quick check' strip, map switch, pwk. no efi/di. optional battery/e-start for the ladies . oh and a fricken speedo that works for longer than half an hour before shittin itself. all without too much of a price increase too thanks. forget everything else, end of story!
