Hi guys, Very new here.. First time husky owner.. (first time dirt bike owner for over 20 years!!).

Purchased my clean TXC 511... After first ride.. love it.. It certainly out powers my current skill levels..

A couple of questions to those who may know...

    1. The foor brake pedal is high.. I am going to adjust it as low as it can go, (It doesnt look incorrectly bent). The end is broken off it and I am looking to replace it. I am having troubles locating another to put on it (havent been into shops as yet, only trawled online). Is it the same as say the TE 511? or any other bike?

    2. On the first ride i noticed what I thought was throttle stick (not all the time). On doing a bit of digging here, I see it may be an air fuel mix issue... Is that something the dealer needs to play with.. I note one of the posts here indicates there is only one screw on the throttle body I can touch, and at this time it appears to be out the 2 1/4 turns it should be at.. Any ideas/advice would be appreciated.

I am probably going to put it in for a service and check over after my next ride just to get everything checked..

    Thanks guys..

Did the same to mine and the ZipTy tip works better than stock. TXC has a better map than the TE as it's of road only, but might be worth a trip to a dealer to have an HST hooked up to it to see what's going on.

There are lots of those bikes in OZ so you're in good company. Get yourself on this group, it's mostly Aussies with an occasional yank like me thrown in.

Unfortunately, as a whole replacement, the brake pedal is genuine only.
It's the same as other 449-511 models, but none of the earlier 250/310/450/510 models.

Completed my second day ride since owning the bike. (Boring video attached.. was much more fun riding than it is watching the vid).

Have removed the second butterfly, throttle response is noticeably quicker/better.

I still have the hanging idle. was hoping to avoid that mod..

    Breather mod still to go..

No real downside to the idle pin/roller mod, certainly not in Australia with our relatively mild weather temps.
My TE idle speed is set off the brass idle air screw to around 2000-2100, engine warned up.
It will start and idle from cold without throttle input down to under 10deg C ambient temperature.
