I see some people put a FMF power core silencer on there wr 250's and 300's but FMF does not list one for this bike. I emailed them and they said they do not make one for my bike and the only one I can get is the one with the spark arrestor. They said people must be using one from another brand bike and making it work. If somebody could share how they got a powercore on there newer wr that would be great thanks.

I have 07 wr 250 with the fmf gnarly and turbine core2 love the combo. Really cleaned up the power.

essentially the difference is they add the spark arrestor
most likely people are using a CR (motocross) silencer
I would guess the mounting is the same, it was on the early years
they make one subframe for your bike and it fits many models, so if they share a pipe and sub-frame my math says they share a silencer/ silencer with spark arrestor
    dan s likes this.

can anyone confirm this? fmf list the powercore 2 & turbinecore 3 on their website for a 2006 husky cr250. these silencers will fit? plastics any different? most places only have the Q stealth available for wr250/300. which is the better silencer(power/torque/sound levels)?

I can't speak for an 07 250 but my 99 360 nice took the crackle and ping out of the note and gave it a slightly deeper sound
I love it, although mine is the turbine core, should sound similar

I can provide you with an aluminum silencer with carbon end cap or full carbon silencer in any length you would like for your WR 300. I have the standard length aluminum sitting on the shelf. All others would have to come accross the water. The standard length alumimun is slightly ouder than stock but much lighter. If you have interest PM me and I will send you picture or I will try to upload here. Not having any luck with that at this time.
    Thanks!
