Hi I just purchased a 2013 wr 250 and have about 10 hours on it.Im having a hard time getting jetting right. The jetting database has nothing for this bike and the jetting chat has a little bit older ones with the 4.0 slide the newer ones have the 5.0 slide.Just wondering if anyone has any luck and could share thanks so much.

I don't know about your question but was wondering if you bought from Central Jersey.

I live in Toms River. I'm thinking about going 2 stroke. I've never ridden one, though.

I'm only riding bikes for about 4-5 years now on a 2005 TE450.

Yeah mike i did he is a good person to deal with. I switched from a kx 450 and I am liking it so far. When I get the jetting figured out I will be able to hammer down and really let you know. The light weight is like a breath of fresh air feels nice.

Make sure your float level is correct before you change anything.

Then look in the jetting database on this site.

Try the jetting chat thread mate but you will need to put in a lot more info your post.
Where are you having problems, IE what part of the rev range?
    What is your current jetting?
    How does it sound?
What does the plug look like?
Have you done a plug chop?
How many turns out is the air screw?
What elevation do you ride at ?
What temps are you riding in?
Tuning these carby's is a science & an art & each bike , for the same year can be quite different, follow the specs of the 2012 250's & that will put you in the ball park.
