What springs do you all recommend for 220lb off road rider? It has about 18 hours on it now and it feels pretty balanced but it seems to bottom easily. Just wondering what you all are using for springs and what rate.

I am very happy with 0.44s on my WR. I weigh about 175. So, maybe 0.48 for you? Might want to err on the softer side if you're fairly happy with it now. I am on the stock 5.4 rear and it's working pretty well for me.

You could also try raising the oil level in the forks to add some bottoming resistance, but it might not get you all the way there.

I'm right at 200# and run .46kg/mm Race Tech springs in the forks and a 5.6kg/mm Ti spring on the rear.

Yes, call Richard at House of HP, he works within Cannon. Good stuff. .48 front and 5.8 rear might be slightly heavy but probably about perfect.

After talking to cannon they recommended .48 and 5.8. I am putting them in today, does the shock spring come off like a KYB shock?

Yeah, they're all the same. Take the preload rings down all the way, push spring down, pop the bottom retainer off.

Let us know how it feels, those springs should be a good improvement!

Big difference with the new springs. You can see on this video my shadow and the suspension was working very good on the rocky terrain on the 1st test this past weekend at Red Canyon.

When I opened the video my first thought was you live dangerously, putting the timecard all the way at the front of your fender like that (I tape mine up on the brace). Then I realized you're down in the desert and there aren't any trees to jump out and bite ya :excuseme: I haven't ridden that type of terrain, but I've got a pre-reg in for the national at Blackwell, so I guess I'll see what it's like in a couple months.

It's amazing what a new set of springs will do. I really like the KYB forks anyway, much better than the KTM counterpart in my opinion.
