Looks like about $300-$500 more than a base model (no extras) Beta for reference.

Yeah, I'm thinking BETA or SHERCO now. Not that crazy about spending that much for a white KTM.

I like the beta for the low seat height but from what I read the sherco motor sounds pretty good with it's 220 watt dc ignition and dual map with with the electronic power valve supposed to really rip!

Hi Fredd and thanks for the numbers ... Do you what countries or areas these numbers will apply to? Or it is some base price of N. America or some other large region?

As I posted in another thread, I expected the pricing to be pretty close to the Kato prices and I was not expecting anything else. I have to say that I'm still really glad I bought my WR 150 and for the price I paid for it. It makes me appreciate what I got for a bike and the amount I paid for it. But I'll add that when I have to buy a new bike, next year or the year after I want that TC 125. The only other new Husky I would want would be one that can be plated in the 250 platform if they become available in MY 2015 or later.

    • My local aussie dealer has all the mx bikes priced the same as the KTM's but the enduro bikes have a slight premium.

So in rosy Austraya, the FE501 is 13495 + on road costs = $14000.00
    The 110th TXC310r is $7,000.00

If I walked into the dealer with 14K, I think I'd be walking out with an Italian redhead under each arm.

I just deleted a bunch of posts that were way off topic, and I edited another.

Lets keep at least somewhat focused on the bikes.

When you put it like that, those Betas are a good deal. That difference could fund the protective parts and maybe a little extra. At the same it's only $50 that separates a Husky from a KTM.

I just came to post the same thing here I've been missing my old husky and was thinking of grabbing a new 250 or 300 2-stroke. Not paying those prices but, $12.5k plus on roads for the 300 ! I can get a new '13 WR300 for less than 8k without even negotiating.

Those are MSRP prices and dealers are going to be able to work with them, especially during promotional offers. After working with the new Husky's, I'd say you are getting what you pay for. No after market tuning is required, the bikes can be raced right out of the box, are extremely powerful and built with high quality. I hear them being referred to as "White KTM's" all the time, but they are not. The orange counter parts are actually inferior. Most of the major parts look the same, but are not interchangeable (eg. frame, swingarm, triple clamps, many others). Many of the aftermarket goodies are interchangeable which is +1 for us. These bikes are built with the same high quality which we saw on the 449's and are going to cost a little more.

Why isn't the US getting the FC350, is there not a market for them?

How did the KTM 350sx sell?

Did MXA reviews ruin the 350 mx market? Lol
