Click on "find a dealer" and the United States isn't listed.

    Typo? Error?

Timing.....you will note from the launch Press Releases that they are distributing to Europe first. US specific news is yet to come.

I hope they eventually re-add high end dual-sports like the te310, te449(?), and te511 as well.

I don't know. The way they have to restrict them to get them to pass EPA just guts them, then the buyers either get a crappy running bike, or have to spend $500 to get them to run right. Frankly, to get my TE310 to run right in the dirt made it virtually useless on the street. Short jaunts on gravel connecting roads between trails is all it is good for, and any sustained riding over 45 mph really is no fun.

Go ahead and buy one - They said the same thing back when Cagiva bought Husky. Again, same thing when BMW did. We're just at a new chapter in the book. Besides, all KTMs have linage that traces back to Husqvarna. So, there was a little husky in every KTM, anyway.

Husqvarna dealers in the US are still selling the 'Red' Italian/BMW models...and in fact more were shipped in the last month. You can still buy a Husqvarna.

What is the point of such an antagonistic response? An even better question would be why anyone would "like" this.

It was "liked" because it was a common sensical reply to your post.
You state that you have wanted a Husky for a long time.
Why not buy a Husky that is on the floor now at a great discount, or a used Husky ?

I just might do that. Don't know a whole lot of people looking to be degraded asking for help in choosing.

So, Whats wrong in waiting and buying a new 2014 Austrian built Husky? That's an option too. I have a herd of Italian built Husqvarnas - and I like them very much, but the new stuff looks great also. Plus, KTMs and Husaberg are awesome bikes too. Going back to what I said in another post - Husaberg and KTM are where they are , because of Husky linage.

    P.s - I just bought a 2013 TXC250r. Most likely will get a TE300 in the spring, too. It's all GOOD!

I seriously don't think anyone is trying to degrade anyone here.

Right now is a GREAT time for huge savings on Italian Huskys, and you'll love any bike you pick for sure.

I have picked up 3 since the announcement of the S.P. purchase, all at great pricing.
