How? It's supercharged :) plus its the non street legal version so there are a ton of other things. I think its amazing. Way to go kawi for doing a sportbike the unconventional way. Its about showing what they can do and standing out in a market of clones. First modern looking 250, 636 for street riders rather then a 600, topping the hyabusa by 100 cc's and making it lighter, and now this. Lets face it, their 450 is a powerhouse too. I used to look at kawi as second rate bikes but over about the last 10 years, they've slowly changed my mind. Thanks for the post ray. Its been slowly released a portion at a time. Nice to see the whole thing

kaw has always built great bikes, and quite a few breakthru ones...the z1, h2, and ninja were all powerhouses when first introduced. imho the zrx is the best ujm ever made..

Kawi made a 3-cylinder road racer bike ( not sure what you call them back then) back when I was a teenager, maybe 15, 16 yrs old ('74, '75?)...it was in class of its own and well ahead of its time... Probably out out run everything made for the road and track for that time ... Not sure if it was a ninja or what but nothing I remember on 2 wheels could compete with it.

I remember that kawi 3 cylinder 2t, a buddy had one in our 20's it was scary fast. We never could get it running to its potential cause of the 3 carbs, they were a bitch to try and tune. What do you think about a supercharger on the zx10? image.jpg 300 hp would be a fun ride, bet that thing costs 50k or more. Beautiful bike

Notice how long the swingarm looks.. almost like a drag bike. (could just be when it's stripped appears that way?) Ton of horsepower.. but will it be able to turn and handle? that's what really counts.

But, SH*TLOAD of HP! Me thinks also gonna see a few of them "implode"! ;-)

Kawi bikes although sometimes ugly are solidly built and fast a hell. I will give two thumbs up for a superchager on my ZX10R even though mine does 192 mph now lol

I'm not a street-bike guy, but I would think that much HP would be unridable in anything other then a straight line!
