http://www.puertamx.com/villarreal.html http://www.puertamx.com/nextrace.html the race was postponed it's this coming weekend. see links. pre race rain is in the forecast (buts that what they said about last week as well for our trail ride)
well then!! come on down and check out the event, different location then those other events (El Chale), this time we are east of Tecate just off the libre road. not only that it really looks a moist day rain has been showering the area
just a quick prep, airfilter change and lubed chain...ok i did pressure washer her during the week from last weekends loop. any she is more ready than i to race, all for fun fun for all. we dont get paid for this stuff. for sure shes due for a gearbox oil change.
racing is racing I did P1 from only 3 in the 50 class did beat some earlier start line experts had a really good ride fitness was really good today--I was heavily RynoPowered!! course was a little bit of everything, tight trails off camber weird corners, tight rock infested canyons and my nemesis quad racing course sand whoops in the valley.... installed a fresh 216AA sick confidence in my front end--- insane tire...Its hard to explain how good the thing is. rocks great, dirt road sections stupid good, tight stuff stupid good.......
Man, we've been so busy with the move and reno stuff. I've been either at work or making trips to/from the new place. The in-laws called us over the weekend. They wanted to know "Por qué no han estado en Tecate para visitar".
Nah, reno as in renovation. New lighting, drywall stuff, floors, paint, cabinets and such. Place is looking beautimus! We're still really close to wine country. Hart and Thornton are about a mile up the road.
We may have done better than I thought in the OA scheme, as well as the French Beta 300RR rider of our crew. We may have punched our tickets up into the local Pro finish ranks on this day.......waiting for final official OA results (we had RFID/Transponders for this one, which makes for fun race charts.
I'm glad your crew had such a good race! New Spring NY GNCC round: The Dunlop Tomahawk, is only 12 miles from my house. I haven't raced a GNCC in 9 years (Unadilla).... It isn't my favorite format, but it's so close that I've got to do it.
Norm just another well marked trail ride!! thats how I get my mind wrapped around these things. get out and go for it!!
