    Hi guys,

I'm going to purchase a 16 Fe 350 in the next week or so.
I know these bikes are great but also know there are a few things that need to be done to them straight out of the box: rider sag, suspension adjustments etc.

Does anyone out there know of any other helpful hints to improve the bike straight out of the box?

Any suspension settings? or little tricks to improve it?

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Cheers

First thing you should do is change the springs to suit your weight, if you are outside the weight range for the stock springs. This change was the biggest bang for my buck on my 2015 FE350s, it makes the bike run so much smoother through the trail trash. There is a spring rate calculator on racetech.com, also the owners manual has some suggestions for rider weight up to about 200 pounds.

Man just got mine broke in and rode it somewhat hard for the first time. I just came off a 2011 WR250. What a difference, I can see a lot of good points on this bike. I usually dont do any mods except gaurds. The bike is quiet which is good for me, I can ride by my house. I rode a buddies KTM 350SX and it is definitely got more snap to it. Its stock also.
