Good news indeed! Is going to get, your usual Ohlins suspension upgrade?
  3. ajaxauto Husqvarna
    Pro Class

I would like to upgrade to the Ohlins BUT the purchase price of $10,000 just for a dirt bike with no extras has me rethinking the whole concept.
But I am sure once I see it my vision will cloud out my brain of all reasonable thought

    Money is over rated.... lol

Money cant buy happiness.... but it can buy Ohlins and thats the same thing....

I hear you on the 10k bike.... just sell 20-30 more cars and boom Ohlins magically appear at your door

SO, first maiden Voyage on the 300. I can say this is one of the sweetest motors I have ever ridden. I came off a 2011 gas gas EC300 and I also have a 2015 6 days KTM 350exc and i've fallen back in love with the two strokes.
The bike just pulls and is really smooth from idle till it comes on there pipe. The bike turns on a dime, it has a really tight turning radius and the fit feels very neutral for me..standard bars in the fwd position and I feel comfortable..Im 6'1 and weight 88Kg's dry..

Now for the suspension…I found these forks to be absolutely terrible..they are like a jackhammer in the initial first part of the stroke and I could not get them to track very well, they have a tendency to skip over the terrain. I personally cannot feel any improvements over the 2015 4CS forks which my 350 had on them, if anything they are worse. I currently have the full Kreft setup on the KTM and there is night and day difference.

I can't wait to have more seat time on this bike, but my first mod is definitely a complete suspension overhaul !!!

    Happy riding fellas TE.jpg

Looks a little like a sherco factory bike now lol. Well or a berg without the blue wheels though...

Really, i like it. 14 was great looking, 15 a little backwards, 16 looks great. Can't wait to see what the 17's are like. Kind of sucks knowing a year and a half in advance that they will be overhauled lol

Yes sir, The 2016 Husky's are getting their own identity alright, by using up the Blue "Husaberg" front shroud panels now. Easy enough to update the 2015 to the look of the 2016 specs on the 2ts. I recently bought a set of factory packaged Blue side panels from rocky mountain for $14.00 a piece. Then they jumped up real fast in price. The Husky factory Enduro graphics for the entire set of plastics are only $116.00. I have a set for a complete set of black plastics going on my '15 FE 501 this winter when the damaging thickest brush dies off a little.

but they are fully enclose style so i cut them and now they suck...... so i will most likely switch to the open back ones on the newer bikes.

I cant stand the full fork guards.... Mine were sliced already when I got it and both races the right side was flipped out.... I would just buy some open even if they were pink

Yep, definitely need to catch up for a ride before it gets too warm and dusty !!

Well I picked up my bike and went for a ride Before I even rode it I mounted up my golden Tyres on a spare set of wheels I purchased with the bike. Then I took off the lights that's it
Rode it about 100 yards and came back to the truck and made a adjustment
Turned ALL the clickers to full soft Then one click toward hard ALL of them If I am going to play in the rocks lets make it soft. The suspention will need some Zip Ty Love but it has potential
The motor ran great I did not touch a thing
The gearing in stock trim was ok first is super low and 6th should see 70 mph and over once broke in
The overall feel of the bike is small I really need to move the bars forward and maybe a different bend for me. The Husky grips are to hard will change to AME type
I have a 2 page list of things I want to purchase So by next ride will have a few more things
Overall I see this is a good bike If some one was just a trail rider I see them not having to do much The motor and gearing just says take me to the hills and try and stall it imposable

Really want to say thanks to Richardo at 3 Brother Racing for the super deal on a new TE 300
