250-500cc 360 power valve flutter ?

    I have been going crazy trying to figure out what sounds like low speed knock. Retarding timing, adjusting jetting. I,m told recently that the PV flutter and rattle. Usually happens just rolling on in third gear. Put in new valves at last rebuild, are the valve bores to blame ? linkage ? Remedy? Live with it?

    not sure on the remedy but the spooge should keep the valves sliding and reasonable tight so shouldnt rattle, not sure what you mean by flutter? like duhduhdudh almost rev limit or just stutters? sound?
