    Does anyone have a source for 79/80 390 Auto #1 clutch springs? Part number: 16 12 556-01.

    I think you will struggle, there seems to be a real shortage of no1 clutch springs and those who have them seem to be unsurprisingly not to keen on parting with them.[IMG] If you do find a source please let me know

    Are the springs made out of special steel ?
    A springs maker can do some if he knows the number of coils and the steel diameter, no ???

    They are quite short and the length of the two ends(hooks) will be very critical, I fear we need a complete specification to have them made successfully[IMG]
