390 clutch question

Hi Guys

Just putting the clutch back together and having a bit of trouble. The parts list shows two large flat washers and an inner sleeve that the clutch bearing runs on. They are items 24 and 26 on the parts list. It appears that there should be one washer either side of the sleeve, but the sleeve on my engine seems fixed in place. Is this correct? Should the sleeve be loose on the shaft?

I took the motor apart almost a year ago and made the silly mistake of not noting how it went back together again. The old memory obviously isn't as good as it used to be.
