I just installed the JD jet kit for my 2010 TXC 450 and I also installed the thicker o-ring that fits over the accelerator pump timing screw. Will this make the power too abrupt or just give better throttle response? I do a lot of trail and open terrain riding and was wondering if I should go with the moderate thinner o-ring?
This has been by far the easiest bike I have ever worked on.:applause:

The quick answer is it changes things in a similar way to changing the AP screw & leak jet size. I recommend experimenting. Like the rest of jetting, after a little while it is easy to understand.

Hey thanks for the useful info, since the bike is so easy to work on it shouldn't be too hard finding the right combo. What led me to re-jet in the first place was the dreaded "bog" when the throttle was opened quickly ... hey its a four stroke ... other than that this bike is so impressive.
