250-500cc 5 weeks for parts????

So I'm having the dealership rebuild my WR300 after I melted the motor down. It is taking up to 5 weeks now to get a new head. Is anyone else having an issue with parts taking forever since the ktm buy out?

Did you try Hall's or Bills?

I've got a slightly used stock head sitting on the shelf. If you need it to get going, you can use it till your new head comes in or send me the new head when it comes in. I don't want to sell it outright, since they may be hard to come by in the future.

Yes, it seems to be hard to get parts that aren't in stock. Just my opinion.

these engines are bullet proof(at least mine has been)I want to know how the op burned up the motor?

I needed some kick start parts for my '09 WR125 and Hall's didn't have them all in stock. They were in stock at Husky and came quickly.

The motor burning up was 100% my fault, long story short I the inter o- ring fell out when I was changing the kick start spring . Other than the spring I haven't had bit of trouble with my 300.

sweet I wanted the Husky "racing head" anyways. I'm defiantly going to send one of the heads off to them, thanks again for all the help, you saved the season.
