Got a round of golf in this morning. I have not ridden my te610 since I picked up the Transalp. It was cold today (high of 47) and very windy in northern Mi. But my dad rode 35 miles to my house and my brother drove to my house. The three of us had not ridden together in 35 years when we were all on honda sl70's. My brother rode my transalp and I took the husky and my dad on this 600 shadow. Went about 2 miles and it started to rain but did not last long. The pace was slow but great fall colors. I to give it up for my dad who is 74 and he was on a muddy gravel road and he said I have to wash is bike. It felt great to be back on the husky! Due to the weather we had lunch and shortened the ride. Dad took a different route to his house and my brother and I switched bikes. I wanted to get on more challenging roads as I had just put 50/50 tires on the TA and wanted to test them out. It worked like I had hoped and this bike with be a great addition to the fleet. Don't worry Husky Fans, I had a gas on the husky and wanted to roost and did a little and waited for everyone on occasion. My brother who has not ridden in years (but he can twist it) fell in love with the husky and had a smile on his face when he stopped and said: This is a cool bike!
Ta/te Cool, it is a great combination and I look forward to many happy trails and backroads. I will be concerned if you have an CRF250x also. I had friends over today and we rode moto and I have not ridden in six months, the X needs stiffer springs and I need a new body.
nope got a 300exc for that category I'm taking the wife on a two up backroads tour of the Flint Hills in KS next month on the TA. The boys are talking about an ARK weekend with some more challenging trails, that will be TE duty. Cheers!
Have fun. My wife last rode with me two weeks before our marriage and that was 32 years ago. I notice you have a RM370, I had a 76 but now have two vintage bikes a 1974 bultaco pursang and a 1971 sl7o. Have Fun!
