I installed the JD tuner in my 2011 txc511 to help with the flameout issue, it's better but not perfect. After running some single track and the bike getting hot (fan comes on) the bike will idle high until cooling off. The idle is high enough to push hard into the corners. Has anyone else had an issue with this? Also, what are others using for settings with the tuner. I left it on the recamended settings and while improved, I'm hoping for a little more.
I use the standard settings at elevations from 1000 to 5000 ft and have very little idle overrun now and no flameouts. I did find that I was able to reduce idle speed with the big brass screw once I put the JD on as my confidence in being rid of the flameout issue had improved.
