Just a note if anyone is looking for a 530 kit we finally have one available. I should mention that husky lists these for kits for the carbed bikes only. I believe the only difference is between the carbed version and FI cylinder is the water temp hole is drilled out on the FI bikes.

How much for the kit? Also looking for con rod kit as well. Is there any updates on that bearing? Second time in 130 hrs for me. It is a snowbike so maybe its just too hard on the engine? I will be needing other things like exhaust too, any take offs? Its a 09 TXC 510. Thanks for any help!

snomoto, which snow bike kit do you have? How do you like it? I have been daydreaming of building a 530 myself for a snowbike/supermoto/dirtbike combo. I'm looking at the timbersled mountain horse kit.

Its the timbersled. I have owned a 2 moto as well and big difference in the deep snow, Timbersled for sure. The Timbersled could use more suspension if your into big jumps which he just developed a SX kit with a 3rd shock that my buddies just got for racing and that kit handles more like a dirtbike, really sweet! The only thing is that they only fit bikes with a centered shock so not for Husky. I live where there built so there is getting to be a lot around here so a lot of different combos. For the most part jap 450 race bikes, KTM 530's, and my Husky is not a whole lot different on which goes better, just different kind of power. The Jap bikes are fun and snappy and rev out but I sure do like the torque and ammedities of mine like elec start, hand warmers, etc. Just wish my motor would last like everyone elses!

Cool, glad to hear you are running the timber sled and like it. I have ridden the 2 moto on several bikes and liked it. Buddy of mine has a monster bored and stroked ktm 560 that is now a 610. plenty of HP to push through the pow, but that track just digs a hole.

Hi snomoto, the kit is 595.00, we also have the 510 con rod kit for 195.00 as well. Let me know if you have any other needs as we keep quite a few parts that are not on the website. Mike.

Ok thanks mike I need to do something soon. Have you ever heard of using a kawi kx 250 bearing thats the same size for the con rod? I guess it has more rollers in it. Not sure if its true that it works/or better. Thanks

I have that info somewhere, if you would like part #s I can find them for you. There was only speculation that it may improve the life of the rod, I have not seen any proof. Thanks Mike.

Hi Snomoto, did you get this 530 kit for your 510? How did it work for you? I have the timbersled kit on my 510. I'm looking for some more HP also. Never too much HP. Have you installed a Thermostat? I have problems running too cold. I have my engine wrapped. When i go slow in the trees I run hot, when in the trails going fast it is cold. I'm also installing a JD tuner. It seems like i'm running out of fuel at top end. I have the Arrow exh and PU kit on.
