Has anybody changed a 610 headlight to a 630 unit?

    630 has a 55w bulb to the 610's 35w.
I've been riding to work early in the dark. The 630's light is better than the 610, but I'd go aftermarket if I wanted seriously good light for night riding. On the 610 I put on a TrailTech X2.

I have an X2 and it works even better if you reverse the fender mount bracket on the bottom of the housing. It was aimed more to the ground so to see objects to the immediate left, right & front of the tire. When I reversed the bracket it kicked the light out more toward the highway for a nice view of the road. They also have an upgrade kit which allow you to put a 55W H3 bulb in the bottom 4" reflector light.

+1 on the X2. Much more better than stock.

I see a lot of 610 owners switch to the Trail Tech X2. The stock light just doesn't cut it. Trail Tech now has the X2 HID, which I will eventually switch to.

yeah they look like they work great but not feeling the design to be honest. i'd rather just up the wattage of stock bulb slightly and eat more carrots :p

If it's an H3 bulb you can get a 100W, but might melt your lens.

Thats not 630 headlight, but 449/511 headlight and fender fits perfect too. I have normal H4 bulp on it.

Really like the look of that 449/511 unit and guess one could do a HID conversion too. What bash plate is on your bike?

I have a new unused 630 headlight and shield I'll let go for $150 o.b.o. Not a scratch on it.
