Paul at Highwaydirtbikes was nice enough to measure my gauge cluster to make a billet protector to mount to his handguards upper bar clamp. I'm guessing that he'll be making them available as some point or that if this is something you would like just let him know. It not only protects the gauges it locates them a bit better than when I did it myself using the stock bracket.

    Now that is nice
Kudos to Paul for investing in the sixten community :applause:
Do you have a side view of the mount?

I'll wander out to the garage and get one.

Here's a side view that also shows my key mount solution for now. I told him to not bother to integrate the key with it as I figured most people would rather relocate it anyways. I'm still hoping to make something work with his switch setup and the round 7 or 8 pin key.

I've been thinking about getting some HDB handguards for a while now, but if that billet protector becomes available for the stock guage then I'm sold.:applause:

I agree, Paul deserves a lot of credit for contributing to the TE610 accessories list. I'm working on what I need for the hand guards and risers and would like to include the gauge protector in the order. However, I'm thinking that it needs some kind of integration option for the key switch.

    Just thought I'd revisit this...

DTYO- our thinking, or my thinking as I asked for the key to not be integrated was that I will eventually switch the ignition from one of the center switch ports on the top bar clamp. I think Paul may be making a generic key mount similar to what I did that can be mounted to the existing hole on the guards. That would be an easy relocate/add for any bike and now that I've had it that way for a while now I find that I rather like it.

Sounds reasonable. I could even imagine drilling and tapping a couple of mounting holes on the side of the mount and fabricating a bracket for the key switch.

If anyone is interested I made my own key switch bracket out of some thin guage aluminum I picked up from the hardware store. It was fairly easy, and I used an existing screw to mount it to the protector.

Looks like a nice solution and goes well with the rest of the hardware.
