Exhaust, battery, emissions junk...has anyone else found where else they stuck all the weight on this bike? Any other individual components that, if made out of something else, would take a not insignificant amount of weight off?

Without the stock pipes it should be on SM 610 level.. and that's pretty much as low as it gets for a street tard if you don't want to spend a lot of money on carbon parts or mag wheels, I think.

I guess I should stop trying to compare it to my kick-only FE501 huh.... :p

radiator fan, horn, passenger pegs, if it has tubes maybe oneday Nutech would make some 17" Tubliss that would save some rotating mass, Dual Star mirrors instead of the stockers, aluminum footpegs instead of steel. Ounces = pounds, but the exhaust & battery are the big heavies

Those Shorai batteries save quite a few pounds.

Was surprised by the weight of the grab handles and passenger pegs when I took them off.
