70's CR rims

I notice in different picures that some of the CR250's have a gold rear rim with a silver front, some have front and rear gold and some front and rear silver rims. Did particular years come with a particular color? I bought a 76' CR250 that has a rear gold and a front silver. Any clues?

Many of the vintage scoots have been changed over the years and this is one change that was made - it came with silver rims.

76 CR should have silver rims, 78 79 CR and WR had gold rims..OR had silver..
80 and up all bikes switched to Gold rims.

I have a few '76 wheels if you need one.

What size and what kind of shape are your rims in? What model of 76' did they come off of? I may be very interested.

I have several complete wheels. Most came from automatics which are a different hub, rear should be the same - do you need front or rear?
