    Just got the old girl fired for the first time. Starts good on choke cold fast idle for a few seconds then go to full throttle take choke off and it's fine and idles great. It's a 36mm VM mikuni. My question is will this happen again when I can't get on the kill switch? I've had the carb apart and cleaned everything seems to work fine. Any help?

    That was my first thought too, but it only does it with choke on, runs fine and doesn't run on when rap it.

    aside from this problem.. what have you got in the carb in the way of jets..? can you detail what you have in the carb..? ...slide / pilot air / needle / needle jet / main ..
