    Great to see!
I am older than dirt ( 69) and ride a Husqvarna TC449 and I have a riding buddy that is 79 and rides a lot and races some on a KTM 350. We are joined by another riding buddy that just turned 70 and he races AHRMA all over the country. To add to that we have a track owner that still rides and races AHRMA and he is 68. We also have a friend that we ride with from time to time that is 68 and he also races MX.
Remember....You don't quit riding because you get old, but you do get old if you quit riding!

    Ah, Steen.
He hasn't changed a bit since he sponsored me in the 80's. Good to see he is still tearing it up.
He was the Canadian Husqvarna Distributor in the 80's and I still have the bike that he supported me with. I restored it and I have been racing it for the last several years.

    Good memories, thanks Steen.

There's a guy here, Don Newell, he would be about the same age and he still races his vintage Bultaco's. The guy is tiny, i know people shrink as they age but he would be lucky to be 55kg dripping wet, and he's shorter than me!

It certainly stops the young guys whining when they feel sore seeing Don line up at the gates for as many heats as he can squeeze in, he goes at his own pace and just enjoys the atmosphere and the racing scene, and good on him too.

I hope i'm still going strong at the same age as both those guys!

Don is into his 80's! He races Super Seniors on his beloved Bultacos. Not bad at making a speech either....we also have Bill Watson from Western Australia who is a well known racer and is a few years older than Don. Racing vintage motorcycles is clearly good for your health.....tell the missus!
