'82 430XC Auto

May go look at a 430XC Auto tomorrow, wants $900 & it runs good. needs some tlc & it has an aftermarket tank. Anything I need to look for, is it a 4speed?

Yes it's a 4 speed but everything you need to see is inside the engine cases!

If it is an 1982 auto it would need a crank and cylinder swap to be a 430. I suppose it is possible but most likely the seller's knowledge about the item is minimal.

420 stroke= 72mm
430 stroke= 74mm

I'm sure you're right, add just said 430 auto. He sent me pics & its a silver xc frame w/remote res shocks. I was hoping it was a later single shock bike
