'85 250XC Frame To Pipe Clamp Pic

Does anyone have a reference pic available of how the frame clamp attaches to the upper part of the expansion chamber? Can't find a restoration pic anywhere or even a pic from a supplier. PO has a dodgy homemade clamp he made. Just trying to make it right. Thanks!

Husky has been using a similar pipe mount assembly since about 1973. Sometimes with a M8 bolt, others with a M6 as in your case. Post a pic of your current situation.

This pic is from an 85 Husky owners manual. Looks to me like the pipe is attached to a tab thats welded to the frame. Rubber bushing required.

If I remember correctly there was a thin rubber strip that wrapped around the frame under the clamp.
