Hay guys had a few questions but I thought I would Start out one at a time. I moved from California to Utah And Ive been restoring my dads bike which is a 87 Husky 430. Long story short I need to re-jet. I was living at 2880 elevation and I went to 4350 elevation out here in Utah. I was told I will need to change Pilot and main jet and maybe drop the jet a little. Need help with finding the right one that will do the trick. http://www.dcvmx.com sells Mikuni parts for the carb but if anyone has suggestions on what I need please Help.

.......................there's no quick fix to jetting, to many variables.

Drop the bottom of your carb and see what size main and pilot your running, go to the bike shop and get the next 3 sizes down (smaller) on your mains and one size on your pilot ( if your on # 360 for example get a #350 # 340 # 330) it should cost you around $15 or so.

Give this site a read, its not for huskys but its very informative. Theres no great secret to jetting, it just takes time and patience. lf you get stuck someone on here will help.

lve found this plug chart very helpful to understand/read plugs.
