Removed the top end over the weekend before being dragged away by the "leader of the opposition" my wife.

I am pleased to report that the inside of the engine looks as new as it the PO claimed it would be with the exception of some slight scoring of both the piston and cylinder, whoever assembled this engine needs lessons in preparation cleaning! Glad I didn't run it any longer.
The cylinder will get a light hone and should be fine, the piston marks are more cosmetic than functional.

The conrod is a "Husky Sport" brand, anyonne heard of them? Good, bad or indifferent?

I'm not a fan of the gasket goo spread all over the place either.

Piston is 83.5mm and looks like Wiseco to me, but can't see any markings on it until I remove it.

Now I just need a puller for an SEM flywheel so that I can split the cases.....
