125-200cc 89 WXE 250

Bought a complete bike on the cheap, chipped piston on exhaust side, cycln. looks good.
Parts going to be impossible to find on this rig?
I have logged all the links from the forums but thought I would ask...

I don't know but I am in a similar boat with a 90 WXE 250, although it does run. It does have some problems like it is missing the front brake and the forks and shock are both blown. It is also super loud.

parts are real tough for these...its basically a cagiva with husqvarna colors and logo...try calling halls, but thats the only place ive seen parts for these other than ebay. i have most of the parts left from a 91 250 if theres something you are looking for. problem is they went through a redesign in 91 and another huge redesign in 92. 93 things settled and parts are much easier to get...89-91 is kinda no mans land. 88 and earlier are fairly easier to get stuff for as they were still swedish...good luck

yeah finding parts for this sucks. I need radiator shrouds and an expansion chamber if any of you folks feel like selling yours.

pruddy sure dyno port has that pipe

ebay had some 125 engine parts (88 Husky/Cagiva) (gaskets, big ends and rods as well as pistons) - check it out.

Plastics are near impossible. I have a complete set for my 125 but they took some finding (and they're not for sale)!

Going to check it for size and make sure its firing this weekend. If all's well Ill snag me a piston for this pig!
If I see its toast it'll be parted out. Wont kill anyone on price ...just want what I have in the bike so stay tuned.
