Here is a New Years Day race with a purpose: 9TH ANNUAL ALMOSTA RACE JANUARY 1, 2010 TEAM EVENT The Almosta Race is an annual BENEFIT RACE & SILENT AUCTION with ALL proceeds going to a beneficiary chosen each year within the dirt bike family. ABOUT THE ALMOSTA RACE: Two person team race. $15.00 Per Rider. Three hour race. Trophy to 10th place for each team member(Cool specially designed trophies) Travelling Trophy for farthest distance traveled to race Hard Luck Trophy Holeshot Award Ironman Award No classes. Team partners are chosen by lottery the day of the race. All AA/A riders are partnered with a B/C rider. Great fun. You could be partnered with your best friend, or a total stranger that becomes your best friend. Lot's of room for camping. Primitive. No electrical hookups.
