Ryan Villopoto Finishes with a Sweep at Lake Elsinore I gotta admit ... This guy blew me away ... I thought he would win the championship, but damn, he blew the field away and never let up ... He looked to point race in the past on occasion, but not this yr ... I guess if you are this must faster than every one else, why points race? My hat is off to this young man and the rest of the field ... Great season overall ... No real injuries and a pretty clean entire season of racing ... We have some real classy riders out there today ... Ryan Villopoto finished his 2013 campaign the same way he started it, with a sweep and a dominant performance in California. Villopoto made quick work of Justin Brayton, passing the Motorcycle Superstore Holeshot winner after the first turn and coasting his way to victory. Villopoto finishes the season by taking 8 of 12 overall wins and winning 18 of 24 motos. This is the second title in the 450 Class for the Monster Energy Kawasaki rider and his 5th total in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. -- RV1 should repeat next yr also, SX and MX ... I know more riders are moving up, but this guy is riding well beyond and over the top of anyone ... -- Lake Elsinore 450 Class Overall Results 1. Ryan Villopoto (1-1) 2. Ryan Dungey (2-2) 3.
