im going to sell my big zrx1200r since i bought a new ktm last night, wondering peoples opinions on making my te310 a motard......in comparison to a drz400 im thinking it could be a decent little bike to scoot around on?

I think the TE310 would be a blast as a supermoto on a track, but not on the street. I think it would outdo a DRZ, though.
You're going to spend some cash getting it ready for the street, though. 17 inch wheels and you'll probably want to have the suspension modified or you're going to have a bouncy ride (my husband had a KTM 525 that he switched back and forth from street do dirt and the ride was much less comfortable than my 510 Husky), and you'll want an oversized rotor up front. That's assuming you already have the lights and stuff.
That being said, if its just going to be a fun-around-town bike, you could probably just put on the 17s and have fun and not mess with the rest. :)

got a new 200 xc-w, i bought a 02 200exc and liked it so much i took it back and bought a new one :busted:

its either sell the husky or the zrx and the husky can do it all, dual sport, scrambles, gets good mpg, plus the $$ loss not worth it.

i didnt like the zrx very much anyways, im planning on spending 2 years collecting money for a ktm rc8 sport bike

im just now realizing how much this supermoto stuff costs

i also had a 08 ktm 530 exc-r i bought new and it just wasnt comfortable at all on the street...upgrading to a 510 or 610 could be a possibility, halls cycles gives good money on trade in to

a smaller supermoto would be great, i had a blast on the 510 last night.
if i had the extra dough, i'd be all over the wxc360 in the classified section to convert

Bill's MC plus in Oregan has done several 250/310 SM conversions and they say that the people really love them. Since they have done a few you might call and ask them what all you need.
