Just fitted this thing to the air box air temp sensor. Had one on my f650gs twin which was really good at smoothing the just off closed throttle response. On this single it is amazing, smoother from closed just when you want a little bit, rolling on I use less throttle to get better drive, idles without that hesitant coughing and is just a treat off the bottom now. Downsides are the ice warning now flashes at under 23 deg C, not a biggy, and fuel consumption seems OK, another couple of tank fulls will tell the true story. This is the best performance mod I have done to any bike and forget cans , PC's. Visit sol2.be.com to see for yourself. 49 euros delivered, order the F650GS Single 2009 model part and enjoy. They also do KTM and the Yam Super Ten, FYI

I cannot possibly imagine my bike operating more smooth just off idle during acceleration...

Just off idle on decel, especially going down hill - yes, but not on acceleration. But would be happy to ride a bike with one installed to see for myself at some point.
    PaulC and Next like this.

I've installed the accelerator module a couple of days ago, and the benefits are pretty much the same as the ones described by those who modded the IAT the "Eruption" Style: better throttle response from idle and no stalls. The temperature is decreased by the standard 20C°, and according to the website this delta is gradually reduced below 0C°, although it will take at least 4-5 months before I will be able to verify it (or I can ride it through the local slaughterhouse :) )

I've bought the cheaper version, the one without the external sensor, which BTW makes no sense at all to me, since the temperature in the air inbox is far more accurate than the outside one as far as the injection system/ECU is concerned. The best aspect of this module is the minimalistic design, which makes it for a very clean install, no holes, no straps. It's also a breeze to remove before bringing the bike to the official service shop.

Until a modded O2 sensors comes out, this is still the best option for the money, especially for us Europeans.
