This is in regards to my 2010 TE250.

If one can add a mapping switch that is connected to the bike, would that work with and without having the exhaust sensor connected? As in, if the sensor is connected could you switch between 2 maps, as well as when that sensor is disconnected would you still get 2 maps?

    Thanks

That little switch confuses the best of them...

Sel1 and Sel2 are ignition maps not efi Maps- but the switch only works in power up mode- so you'd have the race mode plug installed in place of the sensor- and removing the sensor from the exhaust system so it does not get ruined. Sel2 has a slightly less meaty responce down low and power completely taper's out at 6000 or 7000 rpms. Its a "wet" map.

    Here's a detailed thread on it: http://www.cafehusky.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3092&page=2
