That says it all really, but it seems most are on the east coast at the moment. I'd prefer NV or AZ or ideally a bike in California with out of state plates? But whatever comes, I'll consider. Current prices are from 4200-5500, but all depends on mileage and how the bike is set up. OK, this may seem like a bit high at first look, but when you consider all factors, not such a bad deal. My dealer has a New Terra on the floor. $6500 out the door with a 90 day temporary tag for out of state buyer. If you register in state, add another 8% plus registration fees, so closer to $7400 then. So you buy this one, drive to the west coast and get the 600 mile service done there. Then drive on from there. When the trip is over, you can sell it or keep it. I can help you do the pod mod if you buy it and want clean air into the engine from day one. I can't believe that they still have so many new red Huskys. Bruce is the guy I bought my bike from 1.5 years ago too. That $5999 price is what I was given back in November 2014 so that top sticker price isn't exactly right.
The top sticker is MSRP. True, very few were sold at that price but I don't consider it artificially inflated.
For awhile they were even at $5499, but it is the last one. One on ebay, from a Phoenix seller went for $2700 a few months back.
what?! where? I'm still after a Terra, and from what I've heard AZ is easy to come in as a foreigner and register/insure the bike on the day at the AZ DOT/DMV. Can anyone confirm? If it helps, I have a current USA passport and I used to hold a WI drivers license but not keen to resit/retest in WI b4 riding! Progressive Insurance offers a foreigner policy. Oh I also have a Social Security number but no AZ address as of yet to 'borrow' Please help by selling me your Terra...alternatively you can answer my questions

I'm planning on a bus/train/plane from LAX to AZ if there's one there. So far I did find a bike in Reno, NV...no idea about their DOT/DMV situation yet. IF the same as AZ, then its closer to get to for collection.

I recently paid to renew the registration. The only thing that it has is that I have to open the throttle to start the bike. Once its hot, the bike will start ok. But if it's too cold outside, I always need to open the throttle a little bit. Other than that, once the bike has started, the bike runs perfect. I think I am going to go with one in LA that I've been offered, 4500 with only 2800miles, skidplate, SC seat, handguards, aftermarket tail rack, good tyres, drivetrain, etc. But I'm STILL LOOKING! I sent the one u mentioned on this morning to another guy who is looking and actually in Texas. Good we are all looking out for one another!
Well everyone, I tried to do it. Really looked hard for the Terra good deal and even found it. A 2013 with only 2800miles, a bashplate, a Seat Concepts seat, a rack, guards all for only $4500 offered. But instead I went elsewhere. I simply couldn't turn down a BMW g650x challenge with Ohlins shocks, LeoVince exhaust, Seat Concepts seat, new MT21, screen, guards, rack, KTM folding mirrors, custom paint etc for only $3000. Sure it has more mileage on it, but they go for ages these rotax engines, and I think it will be easier to resell when I will only ask 2500 for it after I run it up to 40,000miles on a big Alaska to Ushuaia ride. Hopefully you husky riders can see the wisdom in a lighter bike, well set up (even has passenger pegs!) and nearly ready to go anywhere (adding a $200 1.6gal tank) for $1500 less (well 1300 after the xtank). Below is the bike with SM wheels and in good shape for a 9yr old (not included to reduce price, but barely used 18/21 with decent tyres and a new set of MT21 are going back on).
If anyone else is in the market for a Terra, Not quite as modified as Big Dogs, I am selling mine. It is using oil so I am going to do the top end before I sell.
