I'm thinking about getting a replacement seat for my new SM 610. Does anyone have a custom seat that they would recommend? Pictures of your bike with the seat would be appreciated.

On of our sponsors here is XPC and they have received a lot of favorable press lately. Another good one is Renazco, I have never heard anyone say they didn't like their products. Corbin also make a complete seat replacement but that seems to get mixed reviews.

I'll look into our sponsor's seat. I have a Corbin on my CRF450X, but I spend a lot of time on the pegs on that bike. I have heard someone complain about the Renazco being too soft, but other wise it appears that most people like it. Thanks for the tip about the XPC seat.

Give Don Weber at Mr. Eds Moto a call. He has done a few 610 seats and has a strong reputation here in the Northwest.

I just got back from a fifty mile ride over Mount Tamalpais and up Hwy 1 and I think I'm going to need to sit on a pillow. I thought my CRF450X seat was bad. A new seat is the next thing I buy for my SM. Thanks.

There is another alternative to having the seat redone or buying a new custom one. This is what I use and I can tell you that it's about the best $30 investment that I have made. You can carry extra gas, water or whatever and they do a great job supporting the overhanging glutious- maximus.http://cycle-analyst.com/sweetcheeks.htm

Do you have a picture with it on your bike?
