Akropovik Muffler on a Te511?

    Does anyone know if a stock European Te449 Akrapovik muffler will fit on a US 2012 TE 511 with a stock head pipe?

    I'm guessing "yes"; but look at the parts manual and see if the headers are the same- that should tell you.

    Has any one ever done a decibel check on the Akrapovik installed on a 511? I participate in an organized ride every fall, and they are very strict on the decibel level. I think it has to be 96. Or less of course.

    Yes, and Yes. I have it on my 449, which is the exact same exhaust and it had passed 2 96dB sound tests.
