Took the young guy out to his favorite spot and had a blast.....near the end of the day....he dropped his front wheel in a hole..went over the bars and cracked his chest protector in a big way he was ok... just major "winded" http://s861.photobucket.com/albums/ab177/cafehusky/?action=view¤t=badlands1.mp4
Me too Mimi..... I still cant figure out how he ended up conveniently sitting on that ledge.... Notice it was like charades when I tried to ask if he was ok......can you move everything Jon..?? his head just goes up and down....any bones broke Jon?....his head goes back and forth after.....he rode for back through all that like nothing ever happened
Poor kid! He seems like a trooper, though. That sure is an interesting place to ride. I totally dig the terrain WoodsChick
Hope he's OK Troy and still wants to ride. Glad you were there. It's better than ride'n by yourself when you're a kid and having a get off. Remember those days. Thinking your parents might take your bike away cause it's too dangerous...
OH YA I HEAR YA.....I remember the crazy things my mom would say... that never made sense....but you knew what she meant " if you come back with a broken neck...I'm gonna kick your butt "
When I was a kid I had a ramp in the backyard that was set up like a teeter totter (it had a pivot)....I'd go like smoke and jump off it with my XR 75...then turn around and hit it going the other way.....the kids in the neighborhood though I was cool.... then my mom flew out the back door...and scattered everyone then she would say the classic line "thats the last time I wanna catch you doing that" Hmmm..I thought...that sounds pretty good to me
Stupid move of the month! Hey, I just took a big high speed header Labor day, so I feel his pain. I didn't have a CP on when I did it. VERY stupid move. I got busted up pretty good but the bike was fine. That's the important part. Sucks to have a brand new bike and be too busted up to ride it.
