Up for new set of tyres on te got good run out of first set. Trailrides, mx, adventures, commuting to work. So witch choice is a favorite that has proven in wear and saves from a big get off.
Tire threads are only slightly better than oil threads. Lots of different options. For example, here are some threads on here about tires: http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/whats-the-best-rocky-terrain-tire.24435/ http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/best-tire-combo-for-the-east-coast.31075/ http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/whats-the-best-all-around-tire.9544/ http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/looking-for-the-best-tire.11519/ http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/big-news-robertaccio-changes-tire-type.39128/ You'll need to be more specific about what you want out of a tire and how you ride if you want useful feedback. For decent traction and decent longevity, I like the Kenda Trakmaster and Maxxis Desert IT rears, and Michelin AC10, Pirelli Pro FIM, and Kenda Washougal fronts. MT16s are also popular, so are Bridgestone M59s. Dunlop MX51 and AT81 are good tires but probably won't wear as well (more of a race tire). I have also run the Pirelli XCMH and XCMS tires, they are fine in their respective terrain.
Up for a new set of tyres have enjoyed the Michelin enduro comp and Pirelli Scorpion can not choose witch is better. Has anybody used another brand that will be as good or better?? All ideas or views appreciated. Thanks
I put on the Metzeler Unicross also for an all purpose tire... http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/metzeler-unicross-te-310r.39096/
