Anyone try this conversion out? I tried searching and the only thing that comes up is a DIY conversion with goop and gorilla tape.

Dunno about conversion but I'm pretty sure Londin runs tubless Alpinas? I will be running a set soon.

From what I understand, this kit comes with nipples for the spokes that have a rubber seal around them to prevent leakage and retaining rings. All you would have to do is change out the valve stem. Much cheaper and easier than forking out money for new rims.

In that case, wouldn't it make more sense to just buy different rims?
    Alberto likes this.

try the OUTEX tubeless kit form Japan. Works wonders, I've used it on a few wheels no issues at all!

I did basically the same as the Outex kit myself, 3M extreme sealing tape (4412N), 3 wheels so far no leaks for 2 years. Have about 20 wheels mates want done too now :\

I might run some of that with my Alpinas just to be double safe.
