It is a stunning photo, for sure, but it is turned a bit sideways. I saw video footage and it isn't quite as death-defying as it looks Forget Nevada...I want to go ride the Atacama Desert!! WoodsChick
It looks pretty steep regardless of orientation to me From the comments: 135 I'm live in Antofagasta and I can say that the picture Nro 12 is so close to the reallity...maybe have a little efect....but here we have a amazing places to ride....even more hard.
It's interesting to me that we get to see even more of the planet through this race. Safer for the racers too. Aint the same as the Morocon desert though and man, some of the orrigianl course was simply mind blowing georgaphy. Where's Ekim Yak- he should be all over this thread!
This is a little closer to what I saw on video footage... Maybe that's what the Antofogasta native meant when he said "...close to the reality...maybe have a little efect (sic)..." Still incredibly scary and beautiful! I'd be hosting a brick factory in my riding pants, for sure, if I had to ride down and then up that on a bike WoodsChick
Now those pictures do justice to this race ! Unlike the Versus TV coverage which is the worst Coverage in the history of forever Excellent find, thanks for sharing Kelly I’m surprised they didn’t have a picture of Robby Gordon clearing the start podium in flight with his Hummer…
