Has anybody tried the AMS Racing pipe & silencer on a WR430?

I seem to having some communication problems with the company and want to be sure of the product before shelling out the hard earned.

The photo of the product on their website appears to show at least one mounting bracket in the wrong position so do they really bolt straight on?

I'm not much help as I don't have one but the front mount is in a non-stock position as you stated. That mount is in the same "area" as the Ashe pipes mount was, which worked good. I believe that area is a stronger mounting point than the factory mount. Pipe looks good but does it fit or work:excuseme: Sorry

I see there is no price, I'll send them an e-mail and see if they respond:thumbsup:

Hi, the pipe and silencer is made by Pro Form Racing. they are a leader in pipe building. They make the best pipes for Maicos, bar none.

I called AMS today and they said they do not stock that pipe anymore. The manufacture said the pipe was too complex and they were loosing money on it so they discontinued it. Maybe just charge more?
    Sorry for the bad news.

That's a bit of a concern because the guy quoted me US$359.00 plus shipping. I wonder if I would have ever received anything after paying up front?

Thanks for trying anyway. I've been referred to a reputable Australian fabricator so I'll see what he can come up with but I reckon I'll be paying heaps more.

$ 400 is about the going rate for an aussie made pipe. as the husky is a bit more complex maybe a bit more
You dont want to import a pipe and find it doesnt fit as the freight kills it (as i did)
At least locally you can get it fixed more easily..
