AMSOIL & Rekluse Use - A call out to AMSOIL users

Hey Guys I don't want to start a oil debate. I just want to know how many if any use AMSOILS in your Husky's and if it helps with shifting. Next what wt. are you running. I'm nor cal and ride pretty much in the Cow/CC/Holister areas.
I ask cuz I have a Rekluse Pro and it's a hard shift on the down stroke. If

I have been running Amsoil 20w50 in my '08 sm450 since my first oil change. The stock clutch has zero slippage. Shifts like butter....very smooth.

I dont think different oils are going to make a big difference in downshifting with a Rekluse, I've tried many different oils with the Rekluse and honestly the Rotella seemed the smoothest, but...I dont like to trust my TE with cheap oil, I pretty much only run full synthetic 20/50 Redline. It seems like the key to down shifting with an auto clutch is getting it at the right RPM's which I know is not always possible.

Thats why you need to keep the clutch lever,it makes starting in gear possible and for when you cannot blip the throatl to take the load of the gears,big downhills you just override the recluse with the lever,dont get me started on the absolute need for the LHRB kit for holding you with the engine off on huge hills and then needing 2 levers on the left bar.Its a fantasic gadget but there are times when it will not work to the optum in a particular situation.

How do you run to hydro levers on the left side?
I ran the LHRB on my KTM and it was very nice, but made me rely on it to much. I had issues riding other bikes after the LHRB, at least for the first 10min.

I have a quaker state synthetic in mine now with the rekluse and it downshifts just fine.

I did what a bloke on KTM Talk did,I made a short dummy left bar parrellel and just under the standard bar,its a stupid lot of work,Rekluse have an easy option for a cable clutch but its lots harder on a Hydro clutch,if you do s seach on KTM Talk on LBRB its all there.

I saw a sweet home made LHRB on a KTM, the guy set up a cable rear brake that pulled the back part of the foot lever up to engage the brake, with that setup he managed to keep the hydro clutch with both levers on the left side. There are times when I wish I still had my clutch lever to loft the front wheel but for me the LHRB is more valuable than the auto clutch, someday, maybe my next Husky, I want to setup the dual lever setup.
