Ive been running a 144 for a while after running the 165
The 144 with other mods has a lot of power up top and really goes but kind of missing that smoothness and bit more torque of the 165

Ya 165 works great for using a gear high and keeping corner speed up like a four stroke but still can be ridden very aggressively and reved if wanted. i have rode a lot of different bike even a 15 yamaha 250fx and still like the way my 165 works best for off road riding and racing. i even got second place off the start at this race against 28 other bikes. The only other bike I would consider is a 15Ktm 200 xcw that i rode it was very nice and had more low down torque electric start and nice soft suspension stock but pipe hung way to low in front like my ktm 250sx and would get destroyed in any nasty stuff.
