Same old perennial question, do I wait for a 2016 or do I buy a 2015 TE300 (0% deal)- What changes can they possibly make to the 2016 that would make it worth the wait? Hear about Fuel injection and that 2 years down the line now Husqvarna will be stamping their own authority on the bikes i.e more Husky less Husaberg etc, but how realistic is this do you think? what can they possibly do to make the 2016 2s that much better? - Maybe FI new graphics and tweaks, would you want to own the first FI 2s on the market? All the best.

2016 will bring new model motocross KTM's and 2017 will have the exc line updated based off history.
I'm guessing Husky will be the same although there were rumours the brand would be distancing itself from being a white KTM so to speak

I suspect Air Forks and maybe Air Shock will play into the equation. But that is honestly just a guess on my part.

I doubt 16 will bring much new stuff unless its on the KTMs too.... 2 model years is a little quick to think its gonna be all new or big changes...

Street bikes probably their push for 16. Profits, more brand awareness in new markets, use Indian sourced engines.

Huskys will probably get some new post Husaberg plastic, to begin their path to uniqueness. Possibly as Euro4 for bikes kick in, there may be some DI 2T bikes, but probably not for the US. They'll only be in markets, were 2T's are street homologated. US will most likely still get carbed 2T bikes for awhile, since our 2T bikes are closed course competition model... TE and TC.

As Johnrg said... Indian built street bikes, will be a market push in '16.

My guess would be not much in separating the brands. And even if they did resale will be fine because the koolaid gang sticks together anyways...a few new models and maybe if they pull their head out of their a@# a 200 husky. I think we will see some type of six day or equivalent special low production number huskys that cost another grand to 1500 but for that guy that has to have everything...the retro looking swm 440 will be on my list next. I need to get two years at least out of my new bike...my theory is life is way way to short. If your thinking about a new bike why wait? Nothing ground breaking will be here next year and perhaps you may not even be able to ride next year! Buy it and enjoy it! The first direct injection bikes will probably be available in Europe and not the.competition models anyways

That's an interesting thought. With Andrew Short running the air suspension, would they release that on the Husky line first?

That's where I draw the line...no air forks for me ever. Keep it simple. Off road enduro style bikes work best with open chamber forks!

Air forks? Not yet. WP has them but they haven't been tested enough to be put on production bikes yet. Air shock? Don't even think about it. F.I? Highly unlikely. But what you probably will see is something similar to the ktm 2015.5 factory editions. Thus, new frames, and probably all new suspension settings and shock settings. I doubt the engine will change to much. I guess the plastics will also change, and who knows maybe even the subframe will get some changes, considering the new ktms will have a new air box design.

WP is still 3-4 years from actually completing the final 4CS design so I doubt air forks will be around for a while. It seems we will be finishing the 4CS fork design on our own dime...
