I've not been bothered that every time I stop I have enough of the woods stuck in my tank and rad plastics to start a small bonfire. Last weekend I did mind that a small tree caught my tank plastic and bent it back until it broke the piece off where it bolts to the front of the tank. I've heard of guys cutting the point off so it won't act like a catch all for everything you ride past. Could anyone post a pic of some sawed off plastics so I can decide if I want to do this to mine?

im thinkin of grinding/blending my 'horns' roundish like the asians rad shrouds. ive seen some mods for the joint but they were pretty frankestien, no offense. im working on a dealio like a "clip" to go at the front of the gap so stuff wont wedge in that looks sano and is service freindly. it really dont need much to stop the salad action! that or bring some ranch and have a trail-side snack! and, ya dont have to look for kindling for the fire when ya get back to camp, just walk over to the old hoosk and pluck the tinder from the conveyor seam! lol.

I cut the points off and then take my belt sander and smooth off. They stick out way to far for trails in south jersey.

Buddy Blake does not run any lower shroud at all just Motosportz rad guards. Nothing collects.

Just drill a 3mm hole at the leading edge of the top and bottom shrouds and put a little cable tie through the holes.
