Sherco Australia keep pushing the release date back further and further. (Latest being April, was originally November last year)

I'm keen to get a new Non-KTM bike this year.
So, does anybody have a ride impression?
Is the Sherco worth the wait??
Testing the 2015 Yami WR250 in a couple of weeks.

Customer of mine in europe has one and has nothing but great things to say about it. No personal experience exact on the older ones which is a different bike.

    Thanks Kelly.

I'm really very keen to try one, getting itchy trigger fingers waiting =(
I'm hoping it is just a supply issue due to popularity oversea & and not some flaw that needed correction that is the hold up.
They had the worldwide media release in August lat year from memory, they might have to re-release them as 2016 bikes soon :D

So he's happy with it eh? What sort of riding doe he do with it?

Didn't KTM have a bit of input on this bike along with the fact it has WP suspension components?? I like it but the lack of a kickstart backup makes it a no brainer for me. No Sherco on my wish list. But would like to see some reviews!

I touched one a few weeks back.

There are a handful of pre-production 450's in Australia now being tested and then will be shipped back to France before the production run.
Available later this year is my best guess.

I certainly hope KTM DIDN'T have anything to do with it at all.
I would think being French, they would have done it all themselves.
I imagine WP is just a supplier like the other components on the bike.
As for no kickstart, it's not an issue. I don't have a crank handle in my car and in nearly 2 years of riding the TE449, I haven't been caught short with the electric start.
It's just extra weight to cart around and all the efi bikes run a capacitor for flat battery push starts.

yes i think kick starting is going the way of the dodo bird we will come to except it just like L/C, P/V, EFI, disk brakes single shocks and USD forks its just evolution
