Sunday or Monday would be best! SF Bay area would be my starting location, prefer day trip - less than 4 hour drive would be great.
come on down to Gorman and I'll show you the best singletrack So Cal has to offer. I'll be there Friday though Sunday if anyone wants to ride Frazier. They got snow last weekend so it should be awesome. Probably outside your 4 hour range.
If you were to head South for about 3hrs and I were to head North for about 3hrs. would that put us anywhere near someplace that we would want to ride? I'm not sure that this weekend would be doable but it would be nice to know what options are available for future reference.
Clear Creek Oh wait they closed that We both have license plates we could hang out at Starbucks with all the Harley riders .
For a mere 17hrs. 44mins. of driving. It's only 1105 miles (one-way) You could ride the incredible interior of BC. Bring your camera.
Actually I frequently go to a local doughnut shop were there is a big gathering of hot rods and bikes on Saturday mornings but I stopped parking by all the big buck custom Harleys because they were starting to get kinda pissy that the Husky was getting more attention than their uber expensive, over chromed. racked out, billeted to the max scooters.
If I do the Pacific North West / British Columbia (Kamloops?) area it will be more planned out. Possibly!
Cow Mountain OHV park? Looks like they have some single track? Never been there. 8 miles west of Ukiah. http://www.blm.gov/pgdata/etc/media..._pdfs.Par.b7b72dfe.File.dat/South_Cow_Mtn.pdf
Let's see if one of the locals wants to go... But yes we are a "go" for Sunday somewhere north of the Golden Gate bridge.
Cow Mt is kinda small. Middle Creek is right around the corner (north of Ukiah, east on HWY 20) and has a lot more trail than Pillsbury and Cow combined. I was there last weekend and the conditions were epic. It's kinda whooped out, but so is every other riding area in CA that's anywhere near a town or city. I'd love to go riding, but I keep telling myself I'm not ready for real dirt riding yet. It's hard to stand on the pegs so I sit a lot more than I should... WoodsChick
OK I know you guys are heading N. which pretty much leaves me out this time but aren't there some good dual sport type riding areas around the Santa Barbra area? I'm not to familiar with anything going N. What little riding I have done up that way was a long time ago.
