im doing a motard conversion on my 610. i have found a guy who has used the same wheels (honda mc19) with his 630 conversion and has posted the spacers he had to have machined up to get them to work. im just wondering if the same spacers will work with my 610 or are they different?

    any ideas?

    cheers

I believe they are identical, as well as the 450 and 510.

hi sizzler. that's the guide i am using for my 610 except i have a pair of cbr250 mc19 wheels to use. the guide uses a cbr600 front rim so the spacers given wont work with the 250 rim. there are spacers listed that someone used with the mc19 wheels on their 630 hence my question. i might give the 630 spacers a shot first up.

    cheers

edit: i just re-read and i am guessing you are 'sizzler' they mention with the 630?! good stuff. can you elaborate how you made the 310mm disc on the 250 rim fit?

I was under the impression that the wheels were identical, but the spacers are slightly different?

I made up m own disc carriers out of 10mm aluminium. See my avatar.
I made up mock-ups out of cardboard until it had the rights shape, then shaped the aluminium with hacksaw, file and Dremmel.
The threaded holes have stainless thread inserts for strength.
I had to shave a little off the back off the caliper casting to clear the disc buttons.
I bought some rare-earth magnets on eBay (I don't know how they got through the Post!) and glued it to the disc for the speedo pick-up. IMG_0394 (17).jpg

Hi, I am Matteo and I am new on this forum.
When I wonder whether a part of an Husky model is the same of another model, I use this page: http://www.husqvarnamotorcycles.com.au/support.asp?id=4&t=Parts Catalogues&cid=3
Here you can read the parts catalog of the 2011 SMS 630 and the one of the SM 2008 610. The hub assies, the spacers and the spacer holders have the same codes for the two models. The front pin has a different code, but its screw has the same. Probably the pins are interchangeable and the 630 has a new version. The last year I broke one of the four screws that hold the pin of the front wheel on my 610. When I told its code to the guy at the dealer, his computer gave him another code for the new verision of the screw, that was identical, except for the colour.

maybe the 630 front pin has an axle pull...the 610 does not.

My SM 610 does not have the pull, but according to some pictures that I've seen on the Internet, the TE has it.
